Shannon Slyfield has been riding competitively for most of her life. She received her "A" rating in Pony Club as a youngster and competed on the Young Riders' Team for the United States in Area 8. In November, Shannon & Hollywood Hero (photo on the right) took top honors in the 2012 Texas Super Stake Series for Take2 Second Career Thoroughbred Program at the Final Chase Horse Show in Katy, Texas, at Great Southwest Equestrian Center. Take2 wrote a great article about it. Read it here.
